With all of the money in the world and countless top-class designers at their disposal, celebrities are expected to have the most fabulous frocks- it comes with the territory you would think? After raking through the celebrity wedding dresses of the past decade, we were surprised to see that maybe these stars aren’t so perfect after all. We have sorted the roses from the weeds and these 3 came up top trumps. These wedding dresses are simply stunning and stand out to us as the most unique and timeless pieces of recent years.
- Kim Kardashian: Not far behind Kate, and wearing the tiara of tinsel-town, was Kim Kardashian. One of the biggest and built up weddings of recent years, was Kim’s second marriage (and hopefully her last) to Kanye West. Of course this affair was extravagantly Kardashian, and her wedding dress was no exception. This fitted frock boasted a mermaid silhouette with lace cut outs, showcasing her show stopping curves (after all, where would she be without them?). Her tremendous train and cathedral-length veil were our favourite features and there is no wonder that the photography went viral on social media.
- Kate Middleton: The world went wild for the wedding of Will and Kate in 2011, and the Duchess of Cambridge looked royally radiant in her wedding dress. An appropriately pretty princess look was created by the classic vintage lace on bodice, followed by the graceful flow of the gown as it hit the floor. The delicate detail on the upper back is our favourite feature of this piece, making this wedding dress exude elegance from all angles.
- Amanda Byram: Last but not least, was the wedding dress worn by Irish model and TV personality Amanda Byram. Just hitched, this couple said their vows in April 2016 in front of not one, but TWO star studded audiences at two separate ceremonies. Married twice- it must be love! The private pair had little photography available to fans, but we managed to get our mitts on a snap of her mystery dress and it certainly exceeded expectations. Cream in colour, the unique design of the beaded bodice definitely separates this dress from other wedding dresses. The fit of full length sleeves are what make this dress modern for us, so whether this piece is timeless is up for debate.
